The ancient weathered soil is mineral rich but nutrient poor. The porous nature of the soils has allowed a great diversityof indigenous plants to adapt to the dry hot summers by developing deep root systems.
These porous rocky, slate, sandstone and quartz soils
are ideally suited to growing grapes.
2009 SHIRAZ
All fruit for this wine was hand harvested from our vineyard, and has resulted in a wine with rich, dark fruit flavours, dark chocotate liquorice and spice characters, with a lightminty regionality. Soft tannins ensure it is ready for drinking now.
An ideal accompaniment to roast and beef dishes.

2009 CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Our Cabernet Sauvignon has been hand picked
exclusively from our south vineyard and has
been aged for 12 months in new oak barrels.
It has resulted in a rich, well structured wine
with floral aromas, and exhibits berry fruits with
some cedar on the palate and a lingering finish.
This wine is ready for drinking now however
cellaring over the next three years
will be rewarded.
